長野 ! NAGANO!

i had to say goodbye to kurume and to the wonderful matsunaga family the other day. i didnt really know what day i was going to head to nagano so at the last second (of course), i packed my bags and headed out. there wasn't time for a proper fairwell, which was a bummer. it was a great experience, full of good food and wonderful people :)

and on to NAGANO! its hard to believe its summer here. while most of japan is suffering from sweltering, humid heat, nagano is nice and cool, with snow still on some of the mountains.

CORN!

食べ物について日本の文化はけっこう多い。
美味しい食べ物を食べるのが大好でよかったね！
この前は、小さいテーブルの周りに座って皆とトウモロコシを食べるっていう文化の初体験だった。
ちょ～うまかった！
Japanese love to sit around eat corn on the cob together, and i got to join in. i've yet to have bad corn on the cob here. maybe it just doesn't exist.

こんなにきれいに食べられたトウモロコシは今までに初めて見た。
the most perfectly eaten corn on the cob i've ever seen.

glow in the dark fun

i try to take a walk around town everyday, just to see whats around. its freakin' hard to take pictures at night with this camera.

それを見てやっぱりカメラマンになったらいいな～って思った。
